Hey everybody I came up with some new slippers with the basic pattern I have been playing around with this past week.

Version 4
Hook size of choice
color choice of yarn (app. 3 oz.)
yarn needle for weaving in ends

Make 2

Chain 3
round 1- 10 half double crochet in 3rd chain from hook. Slip stitch to beginning.(10 stitches)

round 2- Chain 2, 2 hdc in each stitch, slip stitch to beginning. (20 stitches)

round 3- chain 2, 2 hdc in first stitch, 1 hdc in next stitch,**2 hdc in next stitch, 1 hdc in next stitch**
repeat **-** around to beginning. Slip stitch to beginning. (30 stitches)

rounds 4 thru 10- Chain 2, 1 double crochet in each stitch around. (30 stitches)

11 thru 15 - Turn, chain 2, 1 double crochet in the first 25 stitches.(25 stitches a row)

End of row 15 fasten off yarn and leave long tail to sew back seam of slipper.

Fold slipper back together and sew up back seam. Weave in beginning tail and ending tail of yarns. Turn slipper inside out.

Attach yarn to the top of the back seam.
Round 1

Single crochet around opening of slipper (between 26-30 stitches) slip stitch to beginning.

Double crochet in each stitch around, slip stitch to beginning.
Fasten off and weave in ends of yarn.
Turn slipper wrong side out.

You can add a decorative chain tie to the top row. Just chain 100 and thread through the top row of double crochet.

Cuffs can be turned down or just left up.

I was looking at my plastic bag holders and had a thought- I could make the bottom with a little plastic ring and put my skein of yarn into the bag and pull the yarn out through the plastic ring and that way my yarn wouldn't go everywhere and wouldn't knot up, etc.

Here are some pics of it.

Now I can hang my yarn holder beside me while I am crocheting or I can lay it beside me while I am crocheting.

I made and sent several as Christmas gifts.

The pattern will be coming soon.

Work 28 single crochet around hair elastic join to chain 1 with slip stitch

Row 1 Turn *chain 3, single crochet in back loop of next stitch *continue around slip stitch to beginning.

Row 2 Turn Chain 3, DC in each front loop around.

Row 3 Turn Chain 3, DC in first stitch 2 DC in next stitch continue around 1 DC 2 DC Slip stitch to beginning

Row 4 Turn Chain 3, DC in each stitch around join with slip stitch to beginning.

Continue with Row 4 until desired length.

Do not turn. Chain 1.

You are going to do a single crochet all around but each single crochet you are going to put the hook through the stitch plus the hair elastic.

Turn * Chain 3 single crochet in front loop of next stitch.* *'* Continue around slip stitch to beginning.

Handle -
Chain 2 yarn over pull loop up second chain from hook. Yarn over pull through two loops, yarn over pull through last two loops.

Carefully slide yarn off of piece and tie in the middle with yarn leaving tails to sew to top of head.

Cut the loops at the end of the yarn piece on both ends.
You can now separate the plies of yarn to make softer hair.

Now sew to top of head and play around with it to your taste.
Cut some shorter to make bangs, braid some strands, etc.

Halloween CALs Coming Next Week

Yarn of choice
Embellishments of choice

Chain 52
Row 1 -
HDC in 2nd chain from hook.
HDC in each chain across.

Row 2-
Turn chain 2
HDC in first stitch, *chain 1, skip 1 stitch, HDC in next stitch.*
Continue *-* to end of row.

Row 3-
Turn chain 2
HDC in each stitch and chain 1 space across.
Slip stitch to beginning of row.

Round4
Turn chain 3
DC in each stitch across.
Slip stitch to beginning chain 3.

Round 5-7
Do not turn, chain 3
DC in each stitch across. Slip stitch to beginning chain 3.
Round 8
Do not turn Chain 2
HDC in each stitch across row.
Slip stitch to beginning.

Leg one-
Round 9
Do not turn, Chain 3
DC in 25 stitches, skip 25 stitches, slip stitch to beginning chain 3.

Round 10- 16
Do not turn, Chain 3
DC in each stitch across(25). Slip stitch to beginning chain 3.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Leg 2-
Attach Yarn at Round 8-
Round 1-
Chain 3
DC in the 25 stitches not worked in row 9. Slip stitch to beginning chain 3.

Round 2-8
Do not turn, Chain 3
DC in each stitch around, slip stitch to beginning chain 3.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

You can decorate pants as you want. Decorative edge at bottom of legs.
Add buttons, crocheted items, lace, etc.
Make a belt from ribbon or a decorative one from yarn and weave through round 2.

If you want to make capris just do less rounds on the legs.

Turn Chain 3
DC in each stitch across doing the (DC chain 1 DC) in each chain 1 space.

Turn Chain 3
DC over to the first Chain 1 space. DC the first 2 chain 1 spaces together.
DC over to the next Chain 1 space. DC the next 2 Chain 1 spaces together.
DC in each stitch to the end of the row.
Row 7
Turn Chain 2
HDC in each stitch across row.
Row 8
Turn Chain 3
DC Chain 1 Two DC in the same stitch.
*Skip 2 stitches
2 DC chain 1 2 DC in next stitch*
Repeat *-* till end of row.
Slip stitch to beginning chain 3.

Row 9-10
Do not turn.
Slip stitch into first chain 1 space.
Chain 3, DC chain 1, 2 DC in same stitch.
2 DC, Chain 1, 2 DC in every chain 1 space across row.
Slip stitch to top of beginning chain 3. Fasten off and weave in ends.
You can add a decorative edge to bottom of shirt if you want.

Attach yarn to the top corner of shirt, chain 1 sc in evenly around the neck and down and up around the shirt opening. Slip stitch to beginning chain 1.
Turn chain 1.
SC in each stitch around. Fasten off and weave in ends.

Now add snaps, buttons, ties to the top of shirt and down the back.

Embellish the shirt as you want. Add a belt, buttons, etc.

12 DC in 4th chain from hook.
Slip stitch to beginning.

Chain 1
2 SC in each stitch around.
Slip Stitch to beginning.
(If needed you can do more rounds to fit bottom of bottle-
Round 2a- 2 SC in first stitch, 1 SC in next. Continue around
Round 2b- 2 SC in first stitch, 1 SC in next 2 stitches.)

Round 3
Chain 2
1 HDC in each stitch around in front loops only.
Slip stitch to beginning.

Round 4
Chain 2
2 HDC in same stitch as chain 2.
*Skip 1 stitch, 3 HDC in next stitch.*
