Cupcake Treats

Cupcake Treats - this is a box/container to put little treats/pressies in.





Hook of choice
Yarn colors of choice

Base:
Chain 4 (does not count as first stitch)
12 DC in fourth chain from hook.
Slip Stitch to beginning.

Round 2
Chain 3
2 DC in each stitch around.
Slip Stitch to beginning.

Round 3
Chain 2
1 HDC in each stitch around in the back loops only.
Slip Stitch to beginning.

Rounds 4 - 6
Chain 2
HDC in each stitch around both loops.
Slip Stitch to beginning.

Round 7
Slip stitch in each stitch around.
Slip stitch to beginning.
Fasten off and weave in ends.



Icing-
Chain 3
8 HDC into 3rd chain from hook.
slip stitch to beginning.

Round 2
Chain 2
2 HDC in each stitch around.
slip stitch to beginning.

Round 3
Chain 2
1 HDC in each stitch around.
slip stitch to beginning.

Round 4
Chain 2
1 HDC in first stitch.
*2 HDC in next stitch,
1 HDC in next stitch*
Repeat *-* around.
slip stitch to beginning.

Rounds 5 - 6
Chain 2
1 HDC in each stitch around.
slip stitch to beginning.

Round 7
Chain 1
*SC, Chain 1, SC* in each stitch around.
Slip stitch to beginning.
Fasten off and weave in ends.



Fill base with treats/pressies.

Set Icing on top of base.


Halloween- spider, cat, bat, jack o' lantern, frankenstein's monster, ghost, witch
Fall- pumpkin, turkey, pilgrems, indians, etc.
Christmas- snowman, gingerbread, Mr. & Mrs. Claus, elf, tree, penguin, etc.
Easter- bunny, Easter egg, chick, duck, etc.
St. Patrick's- leprechaun, pot of gold(black base, gold icing), etc.
Valentine's- pink, red and hearts.
Baby Shower- pink, blue, green, yellow, baby, flowers, etc.
Birthday themes- endless possibilities.

Or just a RAK(random act of kindness) make one and give one to somebody that needs a smile.
