Halloween CAL - Amigurumis Part 3

Pirate Vest-
Brown yarn

Back of vest- Make 1
Chain 18
Row 1 - 1 hdc in second chain from hook. 1 HDC in each chain across.
Rows 2 to 5 - Turn chain 2. 1 HDC in each stitch across.
Row 6- Turn Chain 2. Decrease HDC in first 2 stitches, 1 HDC in each stitch
across till last 2 stitches, Decrease HDC in last 2 stitches.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Front of vest- make 2
Chain 11
Row 1- 1 hdc in second chain from hook. 1 HDC in each chain across.
Row 2- Turn chain 2. 1 HDC in each stitch across.
Row 3- Turn chain 2. 1 HDC in each stitch up to the last 4 stitches.
2 Decrease HDC in the last four stitches.
Row 4- Turn chain 2. Decrease HDC in the first 2 stitches. Decrease HDC in the next 2 stitches,
1 HDC in the rest of the stiches across.
Row 5- Turn chain 2. 1 HDC in each stitch up to the last 4 stitches.
2 Decrease HDC in the last four stitches.
Fasten off and leave tail to sew to top of vest.

Sew the fronts of vest to the back of the vest at the top. 
Sew the sides onto the back of the vest, the first 2 rows.


Belt-
Black yarn

Chain 72
1 HDC in second chain from hook.  1 HDC in each chain.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Tie onto pirate.
Optional silver/grey buckle -
Chain 8
1 HDC in 4th chain from hook.
Chain 1
1 HDC in next stitch.
Chain 1
1 HDC in next stitch.

Hat-
Black and white yarn

Black yarn:
Chain 2
Round 1- 6 SC in second chain from hook.

Round 2- 2 SC in each stitch around.

Round 3- 1 SC in first stitch, *2 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in next
stitch.*
Continue *-* around.

Rounds 4 & 5- 1 SC in each stitch around.

Round 6- 1 SC in first 2 stitches, *2 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in next
2 stitches.*
Continue *-* around.

Rounds 7 & 8- 1 SC in each stitch around.

Round 9- 1 SC in first 3 stitches, *2 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in next
3 stitches.*
Continue *-* around.

Round 10- 1 SC in first 4 stitches, *2 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in next
4 stitches.*
Continue *-* around.

Round 11- 1 SC in each stitch around.

Round 12- 1 SC in first 5 stitches, *2 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in next
5 stitches.*
Continue *-* around.

Round 13- 1 SC in each stitch around.

Round 14- 1 SC in first 3 stitches, *2 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in next
6 stitches*
Continue *-* around till last 4 stitches.  2 SC in next stitch, 1 SC in
last 3 stitches.

Round 15- 1 SC in first 6 stitches, 1 HDC in next 2 stitches, 1 DC in next
2 stitches, 1 TRC in next 4 stitches, 1 DC in next 2 stitches, 1 HDC in next
2 stitches, 1 SC in next 12 stitches, 1 HDC in next 2 stitches, 1 DC in next
2 stitches, 1 TRC in next 4 stitches, 1 DC in next 2 stitches, 1 HDC in next
2 stitches, 1 SC in next 6 stitches.
Fasten off black yarn and attach white yarn.

White yarn:
Round 16- 1 SC in each stitch around.

Round 17- Slip stitch each stitch around.
Fasten off white and weave in ends.

You can take white yarn and sew/embroider a skull and cross bones design on
hat if you want.

Hair-
Color of choice. Cardboard/posterboard/cardstock/etc a piece double the length you want the hair.  Example 6 inch hair you would make the piece 12 inches.

Wrap yarn around piece- more wraps thicker the hair.

Carefully slide yarn off of piece and tie in the middle with yarn leaving tails to sew to top of head.

Cut the loops at the end of the yarn piece on both ends.
You can now separate the plies of yarn to make softer hair.

Now sew to top of head and play around with it to your taste. 
Cut some shorter to make bangs, braid some strands, etc.





Witch's skirt-
Black yarn

Chain 61

Row 1- 1 SC in second chain from hook. 1 SC in each chain.

Row 2- Turn chain 1. 1 SC in first stitch, *Chain 1, Skip one stitch, 1 SC
in next stitch.*
Continue *-* across.

Row 3- Turn chain 1. 1 SC in each stitch across. Slip stitch to beginning
of row to join sides.

Rounds 4 & 5- 1 SC in each stitch around.

Round 6- 2 SC in each stitch around. Slip stitch to beginning of round.

Round 7- Chain 3, 1 DC in first stitch, *2 DC in next stitch, 1 DC in next
stitch.*
Continue *-* around. Slip stitch to beginning chain 3.

Round 8- Chain 3, 2 DC in each stitch around. Slip stitch to beginning
Chain 3.
Fasten off and weave in ends.

Belt-
Chain 70
Weave in row 2.

Put on witch doll and tie belt.


Witch's Hat
Black yarn and color of choice for hat band.

Black yarn:
Chain 2

Round 1
4 sc in second chain from hook.

Round 2
2 sc in each stitch.

Round 3
1 sc in each stitch.

Round 4
2 sc in first stitch,
*1 sc in next stitch,
2 sc in next stitch.*
Repeat *-* around.

Round 5
1 sc in each stitch.

Round 6
2 sc in first stitch.
*1 sc in next 2 stitches,
2 sc in next stitch.*
Repeat *-* around.

Round 7
1 sc in each stitch.

Round 8
2 sc in first stitch,
*1 sc in next 3 stitches,
2 sc in next stitch.*
Repeat *-* around.

Hat band color:
Round 9
1 sc in each stitch.
Fasten off hat band color and weave in ends.

Black yarn:
Round 10
2 sc in first stitch,
*1 sc in next 4 stitches,
2 sc in next stitch.*
Repeat *-* around.

Round 11
1 SC in each stitch.
Slip stitch to beginning of round.

Round 12.
Chain 3
3 DC in each stitch around. Slip stitch to beginning chain 3.

Frankenstein's Monster Bolts-
Grey yarn and Hook a size smaller than what you used for body.

Make 2

Chain 3
Round 1- 6 HDC in third chain from hook. Slip stitch to beginning.

Round 2- Chain 1. 1 SC in front loops only every stitch around.
Slip stitch to beginning.

Round 3- SC decrease around.
Fasten off and leave tail to sew to neck.

Sew each bolt to sides of neck.



Have fun with these amigurumis and embellish to your heart's content.
