Brown yarn and hook of choice

4 sc in second chain from hook.

Row 2
2 sc in each stitch.

Row 3
1 sc in each stitch.

2 sc in first stitch,
*1 sc in next stitch,
2 sc in next stitch.*
Repeat *-* around.

Row 5
1 sc in each stitch.

Row 6
2 sc in first stitch.
*1 sc in next 2 stitches,
2 sc in next stitch.*
Repeat *-* around.

Row 7
1 sc in each stitch.

Row 8
2 sc in first stitch,
*1 sc in next 3 stitches,
2 sc in next stitch.*
Repeat *-* around.

Row 9
1 sc in each stitch.

Row 10
2 sc in first stitch,
*1 sc in next 4 stitches,
2 sc in next stitch.*

Row 11

Fasten off brown yarn and attach black yarn(cat & bat & spider), orange(pumpkin), white(ghost)

3 sc in each front loop around.

Row 12b
1 sc in each back loop around.

Row 13
1 sc in each stitch around both loops.

Row 14-15
1 sc in each stitch.

Single crochet decrease the first 2 stitches,
*SC in the next 4 stitches,
Single Crochet decrease.*
Repeat *-* around.

Single crochet decrease the first 2 stitches,
*SC in the next 3 stitches,
Single Crochet decrease.*
Repeat *-* around.

Attach safety eyes if using.

Stuff

Row 18
Single crochet decrease the first 2 stitches,
*SC in the next 2 stitches,
Single Crochet decrease.*
Repeat *-* around.

Row 19
Single crochet decrease the first 2 stitches,
*SC in the next stitch,
Single Crochet decrease.*
Repeat *-* around.

Finish stuffing.

Row 20
Single crochet decrease around.

Fasten off and weave in ends.

Spider-
Attach black yarn to the 17th row
Legs-
Chain 10
3 sc in each chain,
slip stitch to beginning.

Make 8
4 evenly spaced on each side.

Glue wiggly eyes on head if using.
Attach crocheted eyes if using

For Cat
Attach black yarn to the 17th row
Ears-
Chain 2
1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 tr, 1 dc, 1 hdc in same stitch,
Slip stitch in same stitch.

Make 2 one on each side.

Attach eyes of choice if not using safety eyes.

Make small nose(pink), mouth(red), whiskers(black or grey)

For Bat
Attach black yarn to the 17th row
Wings-
Chain 12
Slip stitch to 2nd chain from hook,
1 sc in next 3 stitches,
1 hdc in next 3 stitches,
1 dc in the last 3 stitches,
slip stitch to the 14th row straight under where you attached yarn to 17th row.

Make another on the opposite side

Attach eyes of choice

make small mouth using grey yarn and white fangs.

Pumpkin
You can either make this just a plain pumkin and make stem and vine to the top
or you can make it a jack o' lantern and make eyes, nose and mouth on with the stem and vine.

Stem-
Attach brown yarn to the 20th row
Chain 2
3 hdc in same stitch,
slip stitch in same stitch.

Vine
Attach green yarn beside stem
Chain 10
3 sc in each chain,
Slip stitch to beginning.

Ghost-
Make a mouth with black or grey yarn Try different shapes to give them personality.
